XSEED Games, the independent-minded publishing brand of Marvelous USA, Inc., today announced their upcoming action-RPG, Silent Hope, is now available for digital pre-order on the Nintendo eShop for the Nintendo Switch™ system in North America ahead of its release on Oct. 3. All digital pre-orders and purchases on eShop for the first week after launch will receive a special 10% discount on the regular $39.99 price, while Steam players will also enjoy a 10% launch week discount. As an added bonus, all digital early bird purchases within the first week of launch will also get the “Wanderer’s Special Weapon & Voidstone Set” DLC, which offers players an exclusive in-game weapon for the Wanderer, one of the seven heroes braving the Abyss. This DLC will be free to download on Nintendo eShop and included with all purchases on Steam for one week after launch, after which it will be available for $0.99.
Fans eager to learn more about the world and playable characters in Silent Hope can visit the recently launched Official World Guide. The title is currently playable in the XSEED Games booth at PAX West, located at the Seattle Convention Center, North Hall #1325 between Sept. 1-4.
Silent Hope harkens back to the glory days of isometric dungeon-crawlers but with a modern flair. Players will take on the roles of seven unlikely heroes, each with their own unique weapon, fighting style, and non-combat job. After spending their days battling through enemies and collecting materials in The Abyss, the heroes will return to Base Camp to craft, improve gear, and prepare for their next excursion. Each journey into The Abyss will be a fresh experience, with procedurally generated layouts ensuring no two adventures are the same, with even greater dangers lurking the further the heroes dare to venture.
Pre-orders are now available for the physical Day 1 edition, which includes an artbook with over 100 pages and a soundtrack CD with 33 tracks, at the XSEED Games Store and participating retailers for a suggested retail price of $49.99. The standalone base game will be available digitally for $39.99 on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch and Steam.
