CREATOR CODE OF CONDUCT

At XSEED Games, we are committed to providing a gaming environment where each and every member of our global community can enjoy their favorite games while feeling safe and respected. We will always strive towards creating a healthy community, and providing a place where our fans can trust that they’ll be treated with decency and integrity. We put that same trust in our creators who join in this partnership with us – to treat others with respect, civility, and kindness.

With that in mind, our Code of Conduct establishes a set of core guidelines that all players, partners, and employees must follow when participating in any activities associated with XSEED Games products or services, either on- or offline, and including, but not limited to activity on Twitch, Twitter/X, YouTube, Discord, and Facebook.

An important note–when identifying as an ambassador of our community, engaging in activities that act against our Code of Conduct on other platforms, services, or websites can result in suspension or dismissal from the program.

Code of Conduct

Inclusivity

XSEED is dedicated to creating an inclusive environment for all players. This includes, but is not limited to members of any race, nationality, ethnicity, religion, color, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, political affiliation, or socioeconomic background. Exclusionary and offensive comments are unbecoming of the type of community we wish to build and will not be tolerated.

We understand that creators have a wide range of perspectives, beliefs, and opinions. While we do encourage and support the free exchange of ideas and viewpoints, even when they may lead to disagreements, or negative opinions about titles published by XSEED Games, these exchanges should remain civil. We do not and will not tolerate harassment in any form, whether that is threats, sexual or moral harassment, or discrimination.

Illegal Activities

We trust our community members to make themselves aware of their local laws, and that they will not ever promote or involve themselves in any activity that violates those or any other laws. Any creator found endangering others, stalking, doxing, or participating in any other illegal or illicit conduct in our communities will promptly be dismissed, and subject to any and all legal ramification as a result.

If you are experiencing or are a victim of any illegal behaviors within our communities, please contact one of the moderators in the partner Discord, or email us at [email protected] immediately.

Cheating, Hacking, and/or Pirating

Do not, under any circumstances, discuss, promote, or otherwise encourage cheating, hacking, or pirating of any sort. There will be a zero-tolerance policy for any creators, whether already in or applying to the program, for any and all of the above. While participating in the modding community can be a positive way to engage with all sorts of games, inappropriate mods are also considered a violation of this policy and are expressly prohibited. This also extends to any artificial inflation of any social platforms used by a given creator, such as purchasing followers. Additionally, all players are expected to abide by any terms of service set forth by any of our titles.

Privileged Access and Disclosure

As a member of this program, you may receive privileged knowledge concerning upcoming game releases, participate in early access opportunities, be invited to special events, and more. In those cases, creators will be expected to adhere to any embargoes or additional guidelines put in place by XSEED or its partners. Creators participating in this program should also never use their status to earn favors, benefits, or influence.

Partners must also respect any potential contractual obligations with XSEED Games/Marvelous USA, Inc., including non-disclosure agreements. Along with XSEED Games’ Code of Conduct, partners are expected to follow and abide by the FTC’s Endorsement Guides and any other applicable guidelines pertaining to sponsorship agreements.

This Code of Conduct is subject to change, and it will be the creator’s responsibility to remain informed on any potential updates made throughout the duration of their participation in the program.
