XSEED Games Announces April 25 Release Date for Trinity Trigger in North America on Console and PC
Defy the Gods on an Epic Adventure Capturing the Look and Feel of ‘90s Action RPGs
TORRANCE, Calif. — Feb. 27, 2023 — XSEED Games today announced developer FuRyu’s co-op action-RPG, Trinity Trigger, will be released in North America on April 25, 2023, for the Nintendo Switch™ system, PlayStation®4, and PlayStation®5. The publisher also confirmed that the RPG will release simultaneously worldwide on Windows PC via Steam and GoG. Trinity Trigger features a star-studded group of RPG developers including worldbuilding artist Yuki Nobuteru (Trials of Mana), character designer Raita Kazama (Xenoblade), scenario writer Yura Kubota (OCTOPATH TRAVELER), and composer Hiroki Kikuta (Secret of Mana, Trials of Mana).
To accompany the announcement, the publisher has released a new trailer showcasing the game’s story and giving players a better look at the characters who inhabit the world of Trinitia.
Trinity Trigger is an all-new action role-playing game combining the look and feel of iconic RPGs of the ‘90s with an emphasis on fast-paced, customizable combat. Players take control of three young heroes as they attempt to defy fate and save the continent of Trinitia. Accompanying them are the Triggers, strange creatures with the unique ability to transform into eight types of weapons that players must master if they hope to be successful on their quest. Whether playing alone or with up to two friends via local co-op, explore diverse biomes and dungeons, strategize to exploit enemy weaknesses, and change your destiny!

Developed by FuRyu and published in North America by XSEED Games, Trinity Trigger will launch in North America on the Nintendo Switch™, PS4™, PS5™, and Windows PC via Steam and GoG on April 25, 2023. The game will also be published in Europe by Marvelous Europe. This title has been rated “E10+” for everyone age 10 and up by the ESRB.
