Yikes. Without Tom and Brittany it doesn't really feel like Xseed.

It's the end of an era.

Nevertheless, let's just be hopeful on where XSEED is going, things will be different.

Probably a restructuring. Wasn't there a change in management recently or somrthing? One localizer from Atlus is also coming over. I wonder how much of a forum presence he'll have.

Personally, I hope more. I loved having Tom here, it's nice having someone from the company discuss with us! I also enjoyed the inside perspective on things.

Tom was pretty unique in his willingness to chat with us. I sincerely doubt you'll find too many like that.

For me, it brought a feeling that the people at the company were as passionate about games (and XSEED's titles) as we were. Tom made me feel like they cared about our opinions and dissatisfaction/praises. That may have all been illusory, but it still was a comforting feeling.

They're gonna be showing us a bit of Ys IX on March 24th. Not to mention speaking of where the Trails series is heading...

Oh, and here's another article with Kondo talking about Trails now that the Cold Steel arc has ended.
