God Eater 2: Been doing side missions and character episodes lately. Man, some of them can be super rage inducing.
In the equipment stats, the circle indicates that weapon's element attribute, right? The line is natural. What about the X? I have a new shield that shows X on all elements except Freeze. I have this weird feeling that I've been taking much more damage than I should have from Blaze and Spark elemental foes...

I started with Xillia and instantly fell in love with the franchise. If Xillia and Graces f didn't impress you, Symphonia probably won't do much. In my opinion, those two entries are the best (Xillia 2 is good, too). :) Haven't played Zestiria and anything after that, so I don't know about the new ones. Symphonia's combat is also pretty outdated, and some parts can bore you to sleep. :p

I started the Silver Case yesterday and so far it has been very disappointing. Haven't managed to get into the story yet, and the gameplay interface is beyond terrible. Probably going to put this down for a while. I still have to finish Persona and play the Elder Scrolls Online expansion that comes out in 2 weeks.

I don't believe so, it's just a VN. I think it's the game directly before the silver case in production and chronology, and after moonlight and twilight syndrome?

Somewhere in the beginning of castlevania symphony of the night. I probably shouldn't have played all the ds and gba castlevanias before this one because the the progression is all over the place and bosses are all ridiculously easy (You can literally beat every midboss by crouching and mashing square). Also I have a hard time figuring out where to go because most bosses so far don't actually lead to any powerups and you're stuck going into dead ends most of the time.

FF13-2: I finally got the last paradox ending with Noel. It was easier than I expected, a lot more so. I have one last area to go, Oerba 400, and that's it. Not sure if I want to do all the other sidequests and get all the fragments. There's still 30 left or so. I'm thinking of calling it done after I finish everything in Oerba 400, as there's not much left to do anyway.

I wish Silver Case was just a VN. You have to walk around and interact with things like in walking simulator games, but unlike most of those, which have decent control and reasonably intuitive interfaces, Silver Case uses a super-clunky menu driven interface that is confusing to learn and tedious to use even when you get to know it.

Got the 175m points, easy. Automagically unlocked the next couple of Diary Entries along with it. Now, I stare at 30 Songs on Special with an S. *SIGH* Well, I'm up to 26 already... 4 to go. I'm hoping the last two Diary Entries are just like, "You made it this far, just take 'em". I kind of doubt it though.

Okay so it is basically the same as FSR, which works for me, but I can see why people would not like that. X3

Started Zone of the Enders on PS3, and I'm only within the first hour, but the game itself feels really fun. The frame controls very fluidly and the graphics are nice to look at. It's hard to believe that it's an early PS2 title, but then again I am playing the HD version so it probably looks a bit sharper. The controls seem pretty okay, but I hope they don't get too complex the deeper the game goes since I'm not really used to using both the L/R buttons and triggers. Definitely glad I got this since I've been itching to play a mecha game since I sent Virtual-On: Oratorio Tangram to my Florida address... also, I realize that this is my first Konami game.

Phew. Managed to play 20 Heroes of the Storm matches in the last week. That was a mix of frustrating, annoying and occasionally fun. (Guess which of those were wins) Being a Forsaken fan, Sylvanas all the way and... she goes squish and splat a lot. Balance is terrible, but its a Blizzard game so that should be expected. Dev pet characters OP, everyone that theoretically has a chance against them, nerfed to the ground.

Its funny seeing the Overwatch characters in there tho.

I wouldn't say that's the case with the balance, although some new releases are a bit too silly (looking at you, Varian), until they eventually get brought in line.
I guess you really wanted those loot boxes though?

Also playing Heroes of the Storm, but I am only 3 games in, probably only going up to 10 for the skins. Might go to 20 if I end up liking the game, but not really sure how I feel now. Sylvanas is definitely my fav char of the ones I have used so far too.

Specialists generally are a bit weird, the ones that don't fit otherwise, but frequently they are good at mulching all the lanes of minions for experience.

If you're OK with cycling through multiple menus just to move or find an object in front of you to interact with, you'll probably be OK.

Last night played Overcooked with friends. It's an indie game on PS4 that is super fun with friends! You need teamwork to build food orders and the more people in the game, the harder the challenge. Never even heard of the game, but I'll definitely pick it up if it goes on sale.

Played some Yooka-Laylee after that and OMGGGGGG this one challenge was awful. Only on World 2 and it's a gauntlet, where if you fall off or die, it's back to the beginning every time... I got too pissed off and passed off the controller to the bf and it took him a lot of tries. This was definitely where camera angles and framerates were causing a BIG issue with completing the challenge. I just didn't have the patience for it :/ So yeah, I've had a bit of help in the game, but I just being frustrated and having to make like 50 attempts to beat something like that (cause I suck at platformers).

God Eater 2: Getting back to the main story again. It's also more difficult to craft and upgrade equipments now.

FF13-2: I spent 1 freaking hour trying to beat Rasptatil, a rare monster in Oerba 400. No matter what tactics I used, I still couldn't beat it in the end! I almost went mad. I can get its health down to about 10% left, but then it would summon a bunch of mooks, which hit hard as hell. I could deal with that, but then he would also drain/recover health more than I could hurt it. Damn this thing!

... 30 Songs on Special, with an S!! Diary Entry 75 is another easy one, 200m points. Already bumped my score up to about 189m. Can finish this one up tomorrow, no problem. Yeah, I'm doing songs on Easy, but it counts dammit!!
Don't know what the last requirement will be for Diary Entry 76. It hasn't asked for one yet, but I could see it asking for an "All Perfect" on Special. Just in case, I went back to the very first song on Special...
... it took a bit of work, but I made it happen. I checked my time, and Voez now shows to have been played over 50 hours. Even once I'm done with the Diary, there are still plenty of songs I've yet to touch. I could see this eventually catching up to Zelda (over 75 hours).

Scored 200m. Unlocked both of the last Diary Entries, so I'm assuming the last one was "All Perfect" on Special, as anticipated. So...
... I have crushed Voez, seen it driven before me, and heard the lamentations of its women. Tomorrow, we start Disgaea.
