I'm still trying to finish up the summer season of anime since I was away travelling, but Titan and Gargantia were both worth watching.

I love Fist of the North Star! It's the epitome of so-bad-it's-good anime. Such a perfect way to shut my brain off after work.

Only watching Kill la Kill at the moment, everything else i've tried this season seems boring/lame. Thinking of watching Monster again due to the live action being made by HBO.

Just watched the first episode of Valvrave season 2. Until now hadn't even started anything this season

Started up Legend of the Galactic Heroes Gaiden.

I'm kind of afraid since I only have 50 episodes of the franchise left.

What ever happened to goofy adventure/fantasy anime? Stuff like Slayers, Rune Soldier Louie, El Hazard, Those Who Hunt Elves, and Sorcerer Hunters? The most recent thing I can recall thats sorta close would be Tower of Druaga.

Watching Blazblue: Alter Memory and picked up Hajime no Ippo (2002) to watch in between episodes. First time watching an ongoing anime (with the intent of finishing it), and I kinda wish I could just marathon it but oh well.

I think Fairy Tail would definitely fit the above description.
I've had a few buddies tell me to watch it, but I usually have a hard time watching or reading long series like this.
You can watch the series subtitled on Hulu. :]

It sucks we do not get as many shows like the ones listed above, but I assume that the popularity for these anime died down by about the year 2000.

Gailei Donna/Samurai Flamenco Thursdays are a blessed thing, even if they still don't feel the void left in my heart by Symphogear.

Let's see, this season I'm watching these anime:
    Golden Time,
    Kill la Kill,
    Kyoukai no Kanata,
    Monogatari Season 2,
    Samurai Flamenco,
    Valvrave season 2,
    Yowamushi Pedal,
    and Yozakura Quartet.

I'm also lagging behind with Space Bros, Symphogear G, and Problem Children.

I think I would have died before willingly letting myself lag behind on Symphogear.

I seem to have reached the point where Soul Eater goes from good to awesome. I love it when I reach that point in anime series. :D

Just started watching Pandora Hearts. I don't have much to say on it since I'm only on episode 2, but I like the themes "Bloody Rabbit" and "Contractor".

Also watched episode 5 of Little Busters! ~Refrain~. Why must every episode end on some sort of cliffhanger? :(

I watched the first two episodes of Attack On Titan. They're pretty good, but so far I don't understand why this series has become insanely popular. What I've watched has been fairly generic. (Note: generic doesn't mean bad.)

The first few episodes are actually the strongest, funny enough.

The first story arc of Sword Art Online finished on Adult Swim. I've kept up with it because it's been entertaining and I've watched most episodes in a group which makes it better. The way the arc ended was...anticlimactic. Can't really get into it without spoilers, which I don't feel like typing up right now.

Oh well. From what I've heard, now is when the train wreck truly begins! :D

Oh I read the manga of that back in middle school. I remember enjoying it a lot.

I never kept up with it though. I read only a few volumes.
