If Natsume, that brought two PSP games in 2013, passed this, it just doesn't look there's any hope left.

What's that supposed to mean? Natsume said the decision to not localize these games wasn't their's to make, and that ultimately it wasn't due to concerns over the game's selling potential.

XSEED also said on their Facebook that they weren't looking into them either. I think Siliconera noted that too.

Oh, they did? All I remember was from that time they just said they weren't working on it.

Oh, that's recent. Last update I read was from Siliconera.

The only Medabots game that I played was the Rokusho/Metabee AX Version for the GBA and I loved it.
I can still remember my team with:

Main - NeutraNurse head, Peppercat arms and NeutraNurse legs with Kabuto medal
Partner - Belzelga head, arms and legs vary (depends on the situation) with Monkey medal

    Strategy:
    * Neutranurse head can cast itself immunity to all attacks barring Medaforce. Belzelga head
    revives broken parts.
    * Peppercat arms are very useful for stuns (leaves them open for attacks including Medaforce)
    but they are quite brittle.
    * Monkey medal to replenish head uses while Kabuto is there for great damage (when unguarded).
    * This strategy is pretty cheap but the AI can be too in some battles. :p

    Anyway, back to the topic:

I would love to see a localized Medabots game in the future if possible. Based on the videos, the game
is quite fun to play. The only thing that I notice is that the models and environment feel dated.
A little polish may do the trick since the 3DS can pull off amazing graphics like in
RE: Revelations and Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance.

A lot of the lower budget Japan-only 3DS games look rough. The two games you mentioned are from globally popular IP, and have big publishers funding them. Medarot doesn't.

Namco Bandai announced a Tenkai Knights game for 3DS. Why is this of any importance in a Medarot thread? Well, the developer is Delta-Arts. That studio developed Medarot DS, and Medarot 7. Prior to this Tenkai Knights game, they've only ever worked with Rocket Company, which makes sense, as the publisher owns 39% of the studio.

I fear we may be getting a Medarot game in North America, or at least parts of it, but under a different name ...

Looks like my fears were unfounded. The Tenkai Knights game looks nothing like a Medarot game(it has better graphics for starters ...):
