I hereby would like to say that all who will get the game beside me are strongly prohibited to spoil anything about Blood Drive,
to take consideration on those who haven't bought it and wait for the localization.

Lol, I've got it coming hopefully within next week, and even I'm scared to look at anything Corpse Party related for fear of spoilers.

    Well not really.
You need to download a 1G big patch to play it.
So in the end it's 2,5 GB of memory size X3

In the end we don't really know how big the memory size of Blood Drive is.
Only XSEED can show it next year with the new Version
where the bugs which have occurred in the japanese version
    are hopefully already solved ^^"

There must be game breaking glitch discovered after it was produced.
Hopefully XSEED will be able to fix it during the localization so that we don't need to worry about patches.

My main problem is the size, not its existence. Maybe it's just me, but 1 GB sounds really big for a patch, especially since the game is just 1.5 GBs, so the patch is the size of 2/3 of the game.

And how can XSEED fix it? They don't develop/program (outside of Sara, but she's just for Steam releases), so they can't really do anything. The patch will probably just be included with the game when it's released here (so hoping for a physical release so I don't have to fill up 2.5 GBs of my memory card).

The patch size indeed IS big. XSEED probably can contact 5pb/MAGES and see what they can do to fix and include it in the game before it being localized. I should have said "do something about it." Sorry if I didn't make myself clear enough. I can see how the patch size might be off-putting for some players.

Hopefully XSEED will be able to have both physical and digital release, and maybe some pre-order bonus like CD soundtracks they have for Japanese release. The soundtracks for Corpse Party games are always superb.

Sometimes the actual update file is big because it's replacing some large files... however, if that's the case.. the install size may barely change.. so you can't really just assume it will become 2.5gb. As an example.. Killzone Mercenary got an update that REDUCED the total install size on the card

There was a game breaking bug they had discovered while the copies of Blood Drive were already been printed.

So they made this patch everyone need to download.
[sub]- As an apology they made this wallpaper you can download
in the LiveArea on your PSVita : http://memoriesoffear.co.vu/image/92733559402[/sub]

The patch has a memory size of 1 GB.

    It doesn't replace anything.
If you don't have this patch on your memory card you can't play the game.
That counts for both digital and physical copies.

It is indeed 2,5GB of memory size.

So when XSEED will localize it in the west, MAGES/5pb. will already have solved it.
It was just that they couldn't solve it without the patch because the copies
were already printed as I said.

13, 688. Number of copies of Blood Drive sold in Japan from its release on the 24th until the 27th according to Media Create. Its less than Book of Shadows, but only by about 2k or so.

Still kinda sad to see such a good series as such a low seller.

That is not a good sign. Plus Famitsu gave the game a 29/40 which I believe is pretty low for a Famitsu score. I also heard that the endings were not very good.

Well, Famitsu has a bad reputation because of that kind of rating. I never trust them, personally.
