.........THAT critic XD
What now? X3
BioShock 2 beaten! I finally finished it, after having it for so much time. I redeemed my retail copy on Steam, so now I have Minerva's Den too. I might take a break from the series and get back to it later. Time for... Lost Colonies... 1.

How did you like it? What are your thoughts?
The Elite 4 was disappointing, wasn't it?
Elite Four was super easy, but the whole thing and after wards, made it actually feel like a grand event for once. Also, the feels with the ending and how they credits rolled in lyrics of all the languages the game was made in
The ending was too long. I was waiting for the credits to roll and finally be done with the ending... that stupid "battle" was a waste of time too. I just didn't like it. :/
...Oh wait, are you talking about the stuff on the bottom screen during the credits? I never fully read that, as I would never notice when it started. I need to pay attention to it when I beat Y again...
Yeah, I'm not sure why they put a battle there. I mean, obviously it was so
AZ could be reunited with his Floette, since his heart became pure, or something
but... like... why during the ending sequence, I guess? It just seems... odd. And it's not like the battle could have been challenging, or anything, because what would happen if you lost? Would the game just not care? Because you can't just get sent back to the last Pokemon Center you used, that would just, like, disrupt the flow of the ending... You get what I'm saying with that, right?
I dunno, I thought it added... a little something I guess to the story, plus being like a bonus surprise.
Yeah, it has significance to the story. I'm not trying to say it doesn't. What I'm trying to say is that the placement of the battle just seems weird. It's during a part that you can't really white out during, meaning they have to make it really easy to beat, meaning it's just another regular trainer battle (in other words, button mashing). I would have liked it if they put it in the post game, since X/Y is a bit lacking in that department (note that I haven't actually done the Looker Bureau stuff yet), and I would have liked a post game superboss or two.
I agree with Terro, I think the battle added a little something. :3 It did not matter if it was hard, or who won, it was about AZ learning a lesson, and being able to be reunited with his Poker.
The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, I was kind of worried when they were going to reuse the same world for this game but it turns out better than I thought. I still prefer the instant transfer between light and dark world in aLttP though. Great title!

I'm finished with Lost Planet. The story was short and... unfulfilling. Good game to start off the winter season though. I might start the Dead Space series next.
Hmm, I started Lost Planet but never finished it. Maybe I should get back to it while I have the 360 set up, if it's short...
It was pretty easy to get through because the T-ENG system forces you to keep moving. It's 11 missions long, and each one takes under an hour.
^^ and the game is really good IMO
I was yelling at the game at some points. Has anyone else played 2 and/or 3?
I took a bit of a breather from heavier games and finished off the last couple chapters of Transcripted. It's a very polished and fun game! I really hope that the devs sort things out with their publisher, and get their game back and onto virtual store shelves again.
Dead Space has been installed now. I hope it lives up to expectations.
2 is not good at all, if not for the giant boss battles and co-op, I'd call it complete garbage. First they broke the whole game into missions, then they completely scrapped the story development for co-op emphasis (bare bone story with no main character, just random snow pirates). Then you spend way too much time fighting snow pirates as oppose to the akrids. I played with 2 friends but I don't feel like it will be fun at all on single player, especially when they designed the difficulty to anticipate multiple players.
