XSEED Games and Marvelous Europe Bring GalaxyTrail’s Fur-sonality Filled Action Platformer to Hybrid Console; Marvelous Japan Announces PlayStation®4 and Switch™ Release in Japan
Torrance, Calif. — August 30, 2018 — XSEED Games, the independent-minded publishing brand of Marvelous USA, Inc., today announced that indie developer GalaxyTrail’s smash hit Freedom Planet is available now on the Nintendo Switch™ system digitally in the Nintendo eShop in North America, as well as in Europe by publishing partner Marvelous Europe, for $14.99/€14.99/£12.99. All versions will include the additional languages of French, German, Spanish, Japanese, and Korean in addition to the original English. Parent company Marvelous Japan also announced that Freedom Planet is now available digitally in Japan on Nintendo Switch system, and in Japan and Asia on Playstation®4 computer entertainment system.

Freedom Planet is a fast-paced combat-driven platform adventure that pits a spunky dragon girl and her friends against hostile foreign powers and alien attack forces. There’s trouble around every turn, from insects to giant robots to sheer explosive destruction, but players will have a variety of special fighting abilities at their disposal to blast through more than a dozen massive, nonlinear stages. The campaign may be played through as Lilac, Carol, or the unlockable Milla, each of whom has completely unique gameplay mechanics, an altered story mode in which the selected character takes the lead, and even a few of her own unique stages.
